Colmar’s Environmental Commitment Statement

Colmar is an organization that is committed to reflecting the key issues of Health, Safety, and the environment, in all of our policies and strategies. Our mission, championed by our leadership, and spearheaded on an individual basis by our entrepreneurial-minded employees, is tied closely to the core values of health safety and the environment.
The Environmental principles that we employ as an organization are as follows:

1. We meet or exceed all applicable laws and regulations, and wherever possible improve our processes to lessen our impact on the environment.
2. We foster individual employee contributions to our policy and encourage suggestions for improvement and personal ownership of environmental issues.
3. We respect the environment by applying our principals to company-owned lands and our facilities management.
4. We actively conduct research and foster ideas pertaining to the improvement of our impact on our environment.
5. We accept full responsibility for our processes. We respond swiftly and appropriately to all environmental issues that arise.

    Colmar is proud of our commitment to our collective future. We have implemented a system to recycle our wash water. We sell our Aqueous Coatings in “Returnable Drums” and our ink in recyclable; cans and corrugated boxes. We strive to be a conscientious Canadian Manufacturer of Inks, Coatings and related pressroom Solutions.
